“I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13

Christians have hope because of God. Christians are happy and confident. They live with purpose and do not fear the future.

Where does that leave those who don’t believe? They live in a hopeless state. They are emotionally under strain. They scratch and claw for something to relieve them. They fill their time to be busy. They apply drugs and alcohol to soothe their conscience. But in their moments of sobriety, they can’t shake the fear of an uncertain future..

The people who don’t believe in God are living in despair. They don’t know the future. They see death and despair everywhere around them. And having no answers and no hope, they are not well.

God is real. Admit the obvious and stop the rebellious defiance, and opposition to Him. God wants to bless you. Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the grave to provide the gift of life to you if you put your trust in Him.

Today if you believe in Jesus, tell God you are sorry for the sinful life you have lived and get baptized. In baptism you are buried, and then are raised to walk in the new life..

Romans 6:3-5; Galatians 3:26,27; Colossians 2:12; 1 Peter 3:21. Be saved and despair no more. Be saved and have the hope of eternal life.
