“A little while, and you will no longer see Me; and again, a little while, and you will see Me.” (John 16:16)

It’s true that no man, not even the Son, knows the time of His return, but it is always an event  that could happen at any moment.

We can forgive the disciples in Thessalonica who thought His return would be in their lifetime. Why, because Jesus said, “a little while”. We Christians who read the Bible know time is different for God so that a day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years are as a day to Him.

The important take away is not to attempt to calculate the time of His return, rather it is to remember His return is real and it is imminent, as a thief in the night when you do not expect. So be ready for His coming. Be ready today.
