Proverbs 6:2
“2 you have been snared with the words of your mouth, Have been caught with the words of your mouth,”

My words need to be well thought out to be nothing but the truth. The truth is the only thing I should ever speak. I must not make promises I can’t keep. If I make a vow I need to keep it. Jesus says we shall give an accounting for every careless word we speak.

Eccl 5:2
“Do not be quick with your mouth or impulsive in thought to bring up a matter in the presence of God. For God is in heaven and you are on the earth; therefore let your words be few.”
