“For when dreams increase and words grow many, there is vanity; but God is the one you must fear.” Eccl 5:7

Do you wake up from a dream and think, nonsense. I do. But there are some who take their dreams seriously. God reminds us not to make pay attention to the dreamer’s dreams.

Paul warned about these. “Let no one keep defrauding you of your prize by delighting in self-abasement (false humility) and the worship of angels, TAKING HIS STAND ON VISIONS HE HAS SEEN, INFLATED WITHOUT CAUSE BY THE FLESHLY MIND.” Col. 2:18.

There’s nothing abnormal about dreaming. We all do it. But it’s a mistake to take it seriously..

I admit there has a few times that I awoke from a dream that was with me doing something immoral or tragic. I confess that I thought it through and prayed to God that my dreams be pure and that I never do or experience such a thing in my life. My recent prayers before I sleep is that even in sleep, that even my subconscious thoughts in sleep be sweet and pure.

There are preachers who preacher their dreams, which comes from their own vain imaginations. And these dreams can only lead astray their flock.

So go back and learn the lesson from Solomon that nothing good comes from the vain visions and dreams. But the only thing we need is the Word of God.
