Ever heard the phrase? What is it? “Judeo-Christian ethic” is a term designed to elicit the sense of close affinity or a basic unity between Christians and Jews. It is ingrained in our language like a clever marketing scheme, like the popular “Israel is America’s ‘greatest ally’.” The term is not in the Bible but it is popular. You might be talking about the principles upon which the United States was founded, and despite no Jews signing the Declaration of Independence, it is now popular to say America was built upon the “Judeo-Christian Ethic”.
The state of Israel exercises incredible influence over our politics and over media. Thomas Massie may be the only US House Rep who does not take money from Israel. Jews own the media and so own the narrative. Jews own great influence over Hollywood and entertain. Jews own the music industry, control most of the record labels, and exercise great influence over Hip Hop music and videos. Jews are the biggest purveyors of pornography that poisons the minds of young people.
Judaism also exercises undue influence over Christianity. Many denominations believe that the Jews are God’s true people. John Hagee, Pat Robertson, and Jerry Falwell are known as “Christian Zionist” (Not in the Bible) and often espouse false Biblical views tied to the second coming of Christ and that He will established an earthly Kingdom in Jerusalem. Which will only happen when a miraculous mass conversion of Jews happens. Falwell said: “To stand against Israel is to stand against God.” Is that true?
The Holy Land. Israel and Christian “Zionist” refer to Israel as the “Holy Land”. The Zionist “Christians” totally misinterpret Romans 9-11, particularly the passage that says, “And thus all Israel will be saved”. Romans 11:26.
— The entire text is showing that salvation is for all who believe and have faith.
— The Zionists twist it to mean, In Conclusion, the Jews will en masse all convert to Christ. Thus to follow this to think that all the Jews are going to return to Jerusalem, and then Jesus will come and set down his feet in Jerusalem, and resurrect the temple and rule on earth for a 1,000 years.
— This is why the Zionists “Christians” are so compelled to support whatever the nation of Israel is doing.
Like any people, Jews are not monolithic in their belief, as there were many Jews who believed in Jesus and were the first Christians. But the majority then and now have beliefs diametrically opposed to Christianity. So blind were the majority of Jews in the hatred of Jesus that they shouted for Pilate to crucify crucify Him, and may His blood be on our children! Mt. 27:25.
It’s true we have things in common with Jews. We believe in Abraham, Moses and the prophets. It’s also true that Jews are sinners in need of a savior as much as anybody. Rom 3:9,10: “we have already charged that both Jews and Greeks are all under sin; 10as it is written: “THERE IS NO RIGHTEOUS PERSON, NOT EVEN ON”;”
But let’s not be hateful. But also let us not be fooled by The “Judeo-Christian term is to make us feel an affinity towards the Jews and maybe even assign to them the status of God’s chosen people. — We should pity the Jews who have not the Law, the sacrifices, nor a temple, and they have no Messiah to deliver them. They are people once again in the wilderness of wandering for their lack of faith in God.
Let us not conversely be arrogant or hateful towards the Jews. Romans 11:20-22: “Do not be arrogant, but fear—for if God did not spare the natural branches (Jewish people), neither will He spare you (the Gentiles). Notice then the kindness and severity of God.” If we become hateful, remember that God who cut off the Jews, can also cut us off from the blessings of Christ..
Christians are the covenant people of God. Jews still live under the Old Covenant. Christians live under the New Covenant. They rejected the Messiah; Christians believed in Him. The real Israel is spiritual, inward. Romans 2:28-29, circumcision is inward not outward, Col 2:11. Galatians 4
Point: There is the danger of Jewish influence creeping into the church. Titus 1:14: “not paying attention to Jewish myths and commandments of men who turn away from the truth.” Gal 4. We don’t have fellowship with the Jews any more than we have to Catholics or Muslims.
