An honest and sincere seeker of truth can understand the Bible. Most people are on the broad path to destruction and they cannot be trusted to understand the Bible. These people don’t want to be judged. But they will be judged, so says the great Judge. But these people don’t want YOU judging them because it pricks their conscience. They would rather remain in their blissfully lost state. These people misuse and twist scripture Mt. 7:1 to mean, “If you don’t judge me you won’t be judged. This is an example of false premises leading to false conclusions. So Jesus is not saying to not recognize people’s faults. He IS saying to concern yourself first with getting your own house in order before you starts helping others out of their lost state.
