While a segment of society is mesmerized by the charming Barack Obama with his compelling message of change and hope, some people are gauging him on the “content of his character.” (more…)
I heard the audio of Barack Obama defending his abortion stance saying that he didn’t want his daughters “to be punished with a baby”. It never dawned on me that a baby could be looked as punishment.

Thankfully, there is still a little sanity left in these United States. From the great state of Oklahoma comes the following:

“The [Oklahoma] bill, SB 1878, requires that at least an hour before an abortion, an abortionist must perform an ultrasound and display the image of the unborn baby so the mother can see it if she chooses.” more…

I love these brave and principled people who are taking a stand for the unborn. They are unlike so many who vote only according to which candidate will promise them the biggest rebate, subsidy, or welfare check. In Oklahoma, decency and justice won out when the state legislators overrode their Governor’s veto and strengthened the provision requiring that all women seeking an abortion be shown an ultrasound of the baby in the womb.

When it comes to politics, Christians should make an informed decision on the matter of abortion. The Psalmist wrote,

13For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. 14I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. 15My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; 16Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. – Ps. 139:13-16

If God knows the child in the womb, abortion is an immorality we should not vote for.
