“A man will not be established by wickedness, But the root of the righteous will not be moved.” – Pro. 12:3
Just like trees and plants, a man needs roots. It is difficult to upset or uproot a spiritually mature person. The Proverbs remind us that a man’s life is superior when he lives to be and do righteousness. A tree that is carefully planted in good soil, is watered and nourished, will show the care it has received. In difficult times of stress, it will prove to be better equipped and will prevail to stand through time. So it is with the man of God. By hiding God’s Word in his heart and walking in righteousness, he will prevail to receive eternal life. He will be firm and steadfast no matter what trials come upon him.
