The term “virgin birth” relates to a miracle that has no match and has nothing in common with the uncommon process called Parthenogenesis where, perhaps due to the inability to find a male, the egg of a reptile, shark, turkey is “sparked” to produce an offspring without the introduction of the male DNA. This is still part of a natural process, nothing like the miraculous conception of Jesus Christ. Me thinks the media, by calling it a “virgin birth”, do their part to chisel away at the credibility our glorious Savior who left heaven to save our souls. The reproduction of a shark is nothing to be compared to the supernatural coming of Jesus Christ.
