God gives good gifts like the little girl in the photo. My granddaughter is a sweet child of God and she is more valuable than all of the stuff in the world. We have three more grandchildren who are just as sweet and precious. They are precious to God too. Jesus said, ““Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Mt. 19:14)
As divorce rates rise, and out-of-wedlock pregnancies increase, and children are abandoned or aborted, I think that the world does not know just how very valuable are these little ones. Just because a marriage is going through a rocky time does not mean abandon it. Do everything possible to teach your children the value of marriage and the traditional, biological, God-ordained home. Encourage, nay, insist that your children wait for marriage to become intimate with another. God has placed a great deal of responsibility in our hands and we must seriously pay attention. To give anything less than our all to raising children to be competent adults who love God is to tempt God (Mt. 18:6).
Parents and grandparents are being watched by little eyes. They are as dependent on us for spiritual nourishment and guidance as they are for their physical needs. Do not hinder them. Instead, let them see a godly example. Love them and show them way.
Those little girls are so well behaved! They really are a blessing.
