The power of Jesus’ appeal all depends on whether you value your soul or not. Jesus said, “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?“, Mt 16:26. This is a powerful verse that demands to be answered. Are we going to give away our soul for a morsel of bread or for a momentary pleasure? It convicts the seeker of God. But what about the product of our godless culture that has successfully convinced men that they have no soul? What about the millions and millions who think they are part of the aimless, meaningless, pointless theory of evolution? If a man believes he has no soul, then he believes he’s trading nothing away. To him, this life is all there is. This is why I believe evolution theory, Darwinism in all it’s forms, is of the devil. You believe evolution and you are deceived. Oh that’s right, you also don’t believe in the devil. In fact, you don’t believe there is evil or good – everything just is. If you believe evolution theory, you believe a doctrine that says all is governed by “dog eat the weaker dog” and that “preservation of the species” justifies the killing of the weaker.
But you say, “I don’t believe the evolution of Darwin; I believe that God evolved man.” If so, when did “man” get a soul? When man was before man, more ape than man, was God slowly evolving him as an animal to later place his spirit in him? And when do you believe that ape man evolved enough that God could say, “let us make man in our image”? Face it, there’s no ground for evolution but you have compromised to believe a lie. Evolution has no soul. Evolution is evil.
