“For many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of CHRIST” – Phil 3:18
The cross off of CHRIST is hard. And to follow CHRIST Jesus is hard. Denying myself and carrying my cross daily is hard. But I rejoice to have the privilege.
Now there are many who teach a soft and easy way to Jesus. They teach “faith only” doctrine which is a perversion of the Gospel and the work of the devil. And there are many who embrace this easy Gospel.
Those who pervert the Gospel ate enemies of CHRIST and they are my enemy too. We have seen long and heated debate about the rightness of fellowship with those who teach error on how to be saved, how to worship God, as well as holding to other errors. If these denominations would not have CHRIST to speak there more than once, because that’s all it would take for Him to correct their error, then how much time should we spend with them?
