“And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.” – Genesis 22:14

These are the words of Abraham when his son asked where is the sacrifice to be offered and God provided the ram in the thicket to be the sacrifice. God provides for His people who act in faith.

When it is true that we don’t know the very next step we will take. The next heartbeat is uncertain. The next breath we only hope for. We can anticipate and we can hope, but nothing is certain.

What is the best course of action then for our lives? God provides if we will walk with Christ. When we don’t know the way, follow Christ. When Thomas said “we don’t know the way“, Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” Jn 14:5,6. If we will but follow Christ, the journey ahead will always be blessed.

So go forward and approach each minute knowing that it is blessed if we follow Christ. The life is blessed with joy and peace when we learn to accept that God will always provide.
