First, the male and female sexes are fixed both biologically and Scripturally. There is nothing in Scripture and there is nothing in science to establish more than these two genders.

Second, the confusion needs to be cleared up that the cultural argument isn’t a scientific argument – even though that’s the claim. The argument is an emotional one based upon what people feel. What people feel and what they like or want is multi-varied and diverse. That’s true. When the “spectrum” of genders is being discussed [see my ‘graphic’], what is being presented as scientific is really just subjective feelings. Feeling like you are something other than male or female has no more basis than feeling you are a dog
or a cat, or feeling you are 10 when the calendar says you are 50. Feelings don’t make anything so. Feel what you want, but our young people need to understand the argument isn’t scientific and it’s not biblical.

Third, this debate is not harmless esoteric quibbling. Basing your foundational life principles on feelings is akin to building your life on sand. One error of thought begets another and another. Following the feelings of modern secularism is a direct threat to the Truth of God for they cannot co-exist.

Since children come into the world as male or female, it is incumbent upon parents to tell their children that on this matter they don’t get a choice. Johnny is told he is a boy. Susie is to be told she is a girl. Both are to act accordingly. The future happiness and salvation of these children depends on parents being UNCONFUSED about this.

The world must see Christians upholding the Truth. And the world needs to see from Christians the same kind of love and patience that Christ would show to them. Not acceptance of their sin, but kindness and patience. Teach them do a 180 from their vain thinking. Teach them to believe in God and obey His commandments. Teach them God’s law on sexuality and marriage and family. If the church and the Christian families fail here, we will all be partially responsible for the demise of many souls.
