“14 Do not enter the path of the wicked And do not proceed in the way of evil men. 15 Avoid it, do not pass by it; Turn away from it and pass on. 16 For they cannot sleep unless they do evil; And they are robbed of sleep unless they make someone stumble. 17 For they eat the bread of wickedness And drink the wine of violence.” Proverbs 4
God is very clear that righteous people do not link arms with people who devise evil. Now no one is perfect and people change, but God doesn’t want our friends to be evil people. Light has no fellowship with darkness, Paul said. This is wisdom. What God wants is for people to be blessed. God wants to give joy and peace and life. These things are not possible unless we make good choices about whom we associate with. Make good choices and God will bless you.
