From Proverbs, 22:3, it says
“The prudent sees the evil and hides himself, But the naive go on, and are punished for it.”
A wise person prepares for the future. Avoiding troubles and plotting a course for blessings.
Are we wise or foolish when it comes to preparing to meet God?
Peter asked, “what will be the outcome for them who do not obey the Gospel?” Have you obeyed the Gospel today by putting away the flesh and by calling on God to save your soul through confession, repentance, and being immersed in baptism to have your sins washed away?
