“35 For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.” Mt 25:35ff

Here is a biblical truth. When you do good to others, you are doing it to Jesus. When they say, “Thank you.” You say, “I’m doing it to Jesus, you are welcome.”

If you do good, it is to Jesus. And if you do evil, it is to Jesus that you do it. “Why are you persecuting me?“, Jesus said to Saul who was hurting Christians. Jesus takes our lives personally.
