WHY THEY HATE A GOOD PERSON
A good person is hated because he is good. It’s like Jesus said, Christians will be hated for the same reason they hated Jesus. The reason a good leader is hated is because he does what’s right. Evil hates good. It’s not a mystery to understand this.
As long as we live in a world where evil is punished and where the majority of people have a good sense of right and wrong, evil people must attack the good in a roundabout or indirect deceptive way. Evil in such a climate knows that it’ll gain no footing by doing a direct attack on what is good. Evil will have to use fallacious arguments like, he sounds ignorant, he sounds mean, he doesn’t dress right.
Evil will sometimes attack good by conflating some imperfection in a good man and use that to destroy the good man. Wise and discerning people won’t fall for this attack on Good Men. It irritates me to no end when good people jump on board with these attacks. This is the places these good people should remember they aren’t perfect either and ask themselves should they also not be taken seriously? We know good people aren’t perfect and so we don’t beat them down over their failings.
Evil will attack good by pointing out when good people ignore the rules society sets up for everyone to abide by. Godless society is not without its own morality – which often comes from hell. Good people don’t do well abiding by the world’s morality. Evil people hated Jesus and the way they would attack him would be to attack his educational background, or his humble beginnings, or point out that he eats with tax collectors and sinners. Jesus and His people don’t often meet the world’s expectations. These are often unjust and specious attacks on good people.
Evil people today attack good people in the same way. You have to accept science! There is true science, but science can be wrong, and science be biased, and science can be bought. Do you believe the latest headline that the earth is being cooled by the sun? Well, if you don’t, you are a science denier and other to be cancelled!
Let’s say we live in a world where pretty much everything is upside down, where good has now been made evil and evil has been called Good by the majority of people. That’s the way it was in Noah’s day. That’s the way it was in Sodom and Gomorrah. America is fast becoming it too. In such a world, it’s much easier to directly attack the good man. “Ha, he’s religious and believes in the Bible! He thinks marriage is only to be between a man and woman! He believes family should only be defined as a man and woman with their offspring! Evil! They are ‘breeders’!” Do you know what “breeders” are? It’s the byword used by evil people for heterosexual couples.
Evil cannot leave good alone. If you are good, not perfect but good, then you will need to be attacked, silenced, and changed. The only real choice if you love God is to remember Jesus’ words, “10Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. 12Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets before you.” Mt 5:10-12.
Now more than ever is it important that you are salt in a bland world. Now more than ever is it important that you not hide your light, but let it light up the world. And evil people will despise you.
