I don’t follow much in sports and have not heard anything about the Jaguars and the new coach, who was apparently a hero in college football.

The papers are ripping him to pieces for his moral failings which is ironic for any media to do seeing that they promote so much of it.
As I looked over the list of trespasses outlined in the paper against the man, I thought that a follower of Jesus Christ, a true follower I mean, would have not been caught doing these things.
For a Christian being charged by the godless world, of say, adultery or something else, the Christian reply is, “it’s not possible, I was following Jesus.”
If Coach Meyer ever thought of following Jesus, he is probably lamenting that he has strayed.
“12 Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” Jer 29
I pray that Meyer and everyone will repent and seek God. There is life after shame if we seek God with all of our heart.
One last thing before we start judging others: remember you and I are probably worse than what others think we are. Let’s take the mote from our own eye before judging others because Jesus said to.
