The bible says you must be IN Christ.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17
Why do you think John the Baptist and Jesus said you must be immersed? Why does the Bible say many rejected God’s purpose for themselves having not been baptized?
The Bible says AT baptism, not before or after, but AT baptism your sins are washed away.
Saul was told, ‘Why do you delay? Arise, and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on His name.’ Acts 22:16.
If you are not yet baptized, you are still in sin, and you do not have the seal of the Holy Spirit, and you are not yet IN Christ.
Paul said later to the Romans, ‘ 3Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized INTO Christ Jesus have been baptized INTO His death? 4Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism INTO death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness of life. 5For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death (baptism is a death, a burial, and a raising), certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection,’ Romans 6.
Why do so many so-called Christians say they haven’t been baptized yet? Why do so many of them say Baptism doesn’t save you, when Peter said it does save you? 1 Pt 3:21.
Baptism saves the way Noah’s ark saved. You get INTO Christ the way Noah got into the boat, by faith in God, who is the Savior.
Stop denying the obvious. And go to a church that teaches the truth. I say this with love for your soul. – Dan
