Jesus loves your soul more than His own life. Paul tells us just how much Jesus loved us to come and save our souls from eternal hell.
“6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.” (Rom. 5:6-11)
He loves it enough to suffer the blasphemies and beatings of Satan. Jesus became poor that we might have abundant riches with Him.
“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.” (2 Cor. 8:9)
He loves us enough to make us fellow-heirs with Him in heaven (Rom. 8:17). The love He has for your soul is inversely proportional to the love the Devil has for your soul. In other words, the Devil hates your soul as much as Jesus loves it. Satan hates you enough to see you spend eternity in hell. He hates your soul enough to corrupt everything and everyone around you if it will hurt you. Do YOU love or hate your own soul?
