The glorious Gospel with the promise of eternal bliss is hard to surpass in its appeal. Who doesn’t want to finish up this life with a grand entrance into joyful rest forever? But who may enter that rest? Only those who have repented of sins and have followed Jesus Christ life of holiness. The Psamlist said,

“3Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD?
And who may stand in His holy place? 4He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood And has not sworn deceitfully.”
– Psalm 24:3-4
