Folks, Jesus said “be baptized”. It’s a word for immersion, as in going down to the Jordan River, or some other body of water, and God washes away your sins. For some reason God chose that adult immersion would be the point of salvation. Look up these verses. Acts 2:38; Acts 8:12; Acts 22:16; Romans 6;3-5; Galatians 3:26-27; Colossians 2:12-13; 1 Peter 3:21. If you want to be washed by the blood of Christ, turn from sins and be baptized today.
I had someone tell me the baptism of Mark 16:16 is holy Spirit baptism. I said really? I showed the person that the parallel verse is in Matthew 28:19. I said, “do you stay consistent and say holy Spirit baptism is “in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit”? He couldn’t answer. I think he went home and called his pastor. Do not listen to a so-called Christian who says you do not need to be baptized to be saved. If you respect the Scriptures, then get out your Bible and look up what it says about being baptized.
