“34The women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says. 35If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church.” 1 Cor. 14:34-35; cf 1 Tim. 2:12.
Christianity is the faith, the religion, and the lifestyle that revolves around Jesus Christ, the Lord and Savior. Christianity is rooted and grounded in the Bible that does not change. One of the unique and
timeless aspects of Christianity is the distinction between male and female roles. Despite changes in culture, God’s instruction on this matter does not and will never change. God made man and woman, and though both are equal, both have distinct roles. Among other things, this distinction prescribes that men are the spiritual leaders and women may not teach the men. From the pulpit and various elements in the worship service, and in Bible classes too, men are to lead and women are to let them lead. Let it be said that women are invaluable in their example of service and love in the church. But we offer no apologies for standing on the Bible.
