This message is not to suggest that the ungodly only do things in unprincipled or immoral ways. The point being made is that a moral person, guided by God’s standards of right and wrong, have limitations and standards they will not go against. But a person who does not believe in God, who believes life is an accident, cannot believe that there is a set standard of conduct. Therefore whatever means necessary is utilized to achieve their goals. A godless man has no standard except an arbitrary standard, as he must see it, that is established by dominant society.
