THE MALE IDENTITY CRISIS IS NOT BECAUSE WOMEN EARN MORE, Dan Mayfield

Even when Time (a hugely failing magazine) comes close to the truth, it will never in this godless culture get to the real issue. Note in the following excerpt that after pointing to the crisis young men feel, it is attributed to the fact that women are earning more.

Excerpt: “Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders are tapping into what I’m calling a “Lean Out” generation of young, discouraged and angry men—men who are feeling abandoned by the thousands of years of history that defined what it meant to be a real man: to be strong; to be a provider; to be in authority; to be the ultimate decision maker; and to be economically, educationally, physically and politically dominant. A growing percentage of young men are being out-earned by young women, as women capture 60% of the higher education degrees required for success in today’s economy.”1

Here’s the thing. That is not the cause! That is a symptom of a greater problem. Men and women are having the identity crisis. Masculine men are not valued in a world where women and femininity are not valued. Feminism has becomes something mutant that when realized in a woman makes her antagonistic to the strong male. And so men have no truly feminine counterpart.

“Be on the alert. Stand firm in the faith. Be men of courage. Be strong.” 1 Cor. 16:13.

For men to act like men, they need women who act like women who honor their husbands and submit to them. She is submissive to the male spiritual leadership as God has ordained.

“Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.” Eph. 5:24.

Women are not to be the preachers and Elders. Women who are spiritual defer to the leadership, encouraging it, in her home. She establishes an identity of herself which will bless her girls and boys.

Parents, this is on you. Establish the godly home where men embrace the role given to them, and women embrace the role given to them.
