HOPE AND DEATH: THE NEED TO DISCIPLINE THE CHILD, DM

“Discipline your son while there is hope, And do not desire his death.” Pro. 19:18.

Disciplining a child is essential parenting. There is no way to properly raise a child without training, reinforcement, rewards and punishments. And this verse shows us there is a window of time for bringing a son up to fear God. And to put off discipline or to discipline inconsistently will in a very real sense be the death of the child. This is a message to parents about parenting. The child needs engaged, smart, wise, and spiritual parents who will do everything they can to save their children.
