Is there anything worse than telling a young person today that since he benefits from “white privilege”, he will be assessed an extra tax to be paid to members of another race? No. So my children will have to work harder and get less if the Democrats win the next election and pass their “reparations” bill being proposed. It’s unrighteous and people are not going to take it.

It is unjust to punish the sons for the sins of the fathers.

“6 But the sons of the slayers he did not put to death, according to what is written in the book of the Law of Moses, as the LORD commanded, saying, “The fathers shall not be put to death for the sons, nor the sons be put to death for the fathers; but each shall be put to death for his own sin.” 2 Kgs 14:6.

“Fathers shall not be put to death for their sons, nor shall sons be put to death for their fathers; everyone shall be put to death for his own sin.” Deut. 24:16.

“29 In those days they will not say again, ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes, And the children’s teeth are set on edge.’ 30 “But everyone will die for his own iniquity; each man who eats the sour grapes, his teeth will be set on edge.” Jeremiah 31:29-30.

“20 The person who sins will die. The son will not bear the punishment for the father’s iniquity, nor will the father bear the punishment for the son’s iniquity; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself. 21 “But if the wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed and observes all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall surely live; he shall not die.” Ezekiel 18:20,21.

A law that punishes children whose ancestors likely didn’t even have slaves is as unjust a law as any can be. It will not stand. People who understand the justice of God will not abide with their children being punished like this.
