”We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10)
In the beginning, when God made light and the entire creation in six literal days, His crowning touch was the making of man “In His image”, Gen 1:26. The genius of man that can put a rocket in space and that can build skyscrapers and super computers that fit into our hands are a testament to the genius, power, and love that is in the Creator. Jesus and the Holy Spirit were there too. The Spirit of God was seen hovering over the face of the deep, and the triune God is heard saying, “Let us make man in OUR image.” We truly are blessed with the hand of God’s genius and love. But it is not a purposeless life. God’s intention is that we do good works according to His will. That means being a Christian. That means living for Jesus Christ who is both Savior and Lord.
