Because the Quran claims to accept the first section of the Old Testament Bible does not make their god the God of the Bible. The God of the Bible did not bless the world through Ishmael. And that religion that traces its roots back to Abraham through Ishmael rejects Christ, the Son of God, and therefore establishes their god is a different god.

When George Bush or Pres Obama peddle the lie that “we worship the same God”, they show their ignorance. I remember years ago a brother told me of his experiences on the island of Malta where he was part of an evangelistic team that re-established the church. He said that the Catholic church had already shifted to calling God “Allah”. Allah is not the God that said in Genesis 1 “let us make man in our image.” So let’s not buy into this lie.

When school children are taught (Colorado and New York stories have been reported) to pledge allegiance to the flag…’once nation under Allah”, it’s time to stand up and oppose this lie. Allah is not Yahweh and we should not accept the lie that says otherwise.
